While smaller in terms of exhibitors and attendance, this year's ARDA Convention was far more upbeat than last. AsSPI observed earlier this month, CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s blog quotes economic guru Lakshman Achuthan (managing director, Economic Cycle Research Institute) as saying the U.S. recession is ending. Goodbye ‘Staycation.” Families can once again plan on a week’s (or longer) vacation that will refresh them and bring them valuable ‘together’ time.

It was an amazing night at the ARDA Awards event, last Wednesday night.  Everyone was dressed to the nine’s and excitement filled the air. To be recogniz ed by ARDA is a recognition of the highest professional accomplishmnet in our industry. It is a great honor and SPI Timeshare Software wants to congratulate all the winners whose hard work and efforts were recognized.

It was great catching up and visiting with friends and valued customers at the ARDA national convention last week in Las Vegas. A team from Grand Pacific Resorts dropped by our booth to see our latest and greatest enhancements. Before joining SPI Timeshare Software GPR  had several software packages in place and were looking for a strong integrated solution for all their needs from sales, to reservations, maintenance fees and property management.
